She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Brocton, N.Y. She was an accounting manager at Niagara Therapy Manufacturing. She graduated from Jamestown Business College. Fagerberg was born in Dewittville, N.Y., and moved to the Gainesville area in 1982.
